It's looking like this Mega-Storm (Hurricane Sandy) will be HUMONGOUS!!! :hiding::hiding::hiding::hiding:
You take care as well TW! :bless34: I can't stress this enough!! God Bless you all :grouphug:
I'm concerned for you, I know you live in NY. Have you made any preparations in case you loose power for a while? Food, water, batteries, medicine? Anyone else here live in the possible impact zone?
I've been meaning to start a thread for those who live in apartment bldgs like myself: http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message2031319/pg1 The NYC hurricane brochure has a good check up list of supplies. I got some stuff left over from Irene last year and we replenished the rest as of yesterday. To tell you the truth, I feel really safe in a brick bldg, on the third floor, over any detached house on street level. Sure that's for situations like this of course! Also, my landlord made extensive renovations over the summer on the facade of my bldg, ie: insulation improvements and repairing leaks from Irene last year. I'm sure they are glad they made the effort! I have NEVER been w/o electricity for longer than two days...and that's w/o kids. I can only hope that if it happens, we don't have to go much longer than that. As of now, no school and no public transportation. We just have to prepare for no TV and possibly no internet. We have everything else covered...at least. Thank you sisters :hf:! Keep us in your prayers !
