Matt 24 15"So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. (my interpretation - when you see elenin approaching in the sky...head for the hills...) Rev 18; 4Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; 5for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Rev 12; 13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ...perhaps at just the right time, (cause gods timing is perfect) God will provide an aircraft and fly us to a safe 'wilderness'... ???
Yes He will, if we are watching for Him. But God doesn't need an aircraft lol. It's called the Rapture! This is the time folks, to be seeking the Lord with ALL of your heart. :hf:
UUMMMM.....about that Rapture thing....I don't think there will be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture because if there was, and all the believers are in Heaven prior to the Tribulation, then why would he leave instructions in Revelations on how to escape and survive the horrors that are described there? Who would he leave these instructions for if all believers were raptured? Read the first chapter of REVELATION-Blessings to he who hears and ENDURES......
There will be a pre-trib Rapture. The instuctions, as you stated, are for the other Five virgins that were saved,, but were not watching, nor following the Lord with all of their heart. Jesus not only told us to be watching, but be praying that we might be considered worthy to ESCAPE the things that are soon to come upon the earth.
It is clear at least to me that the foolish virgins were lost forever. The sleeping is in reference to these Christians lack of desire to live for Christ and their fellow neighbor, extremely selfish. They loved their own selves more than they did God and there fellow servants. God can tell us everything about what is happening right now prophetically and what is going to happen shortly. But He wants to show us our intentions toward Him and our neighbors. The Lord is just and holy and righteous. Do you want a mate who likes you just for your money and good looks? Well then you are shallow! your mate is in love with your money and maybe your picturesque looks. But your mate's heart is from you but very close to your goods. God is far deeper than our shallow virtues. No! the foolish virgins had the door closed on them for good. There was no second chance for them. Beg all they wanted it did them no good for where they went there was no ears to hear them and that is what caused them great weeping and gnashing of their teeth from this horrendous knowledge that they would never be given a second chance. The thought alone is to grievous to bare. This is coming from a Christian who fell from grace into gross sin. Yet by the Lords mercy I live and serve Him. I was fortunate, I got restored just before the marriage supper of the Lamb. If you are foolish repent before it is to late. God does love you and is not willing that any should perish, even Christians. Some Christians are wise some are foolish, 5 went to be with the Lord 5 did not.
Thank you very much for sharing this testimony:hugs: It is very timely...Bless the Lord for His mercy to us. I press on in Christ Jesus because I know He is the ONLY Way, Truth and Life...however I had a huge fall a few years back, and although bless His Name, He restored me, there are times like this morning to be exact, fear and doubt come in, I was crying so hard and praying the Lord would give me assurance that I hadn't thrown my salvation away those years ago. I feel blessed by is love at this moment and feel your testimony is a specific answer to my prayer.(I won't go into detail) May the Lord bless you and keep you :hf: always
Thank you for your testimony. God is rich in mercy. That which is of the Spirit of Jesus Christ builds up and restores with life everlasting. God bless you and cover you always under His wings of mercy, in Jesus name.
