Original Message Can someone please give me a possible explaination as to what I might be seeing in the sky?

Twice this month around 7:30am Pacific Time I have seen a bright shining object in the eastern sky below and to the left of the rising sun.

At first I thought it was a planet but according to these observatory sights, nothing should be visible at that time. It is large and very bright like a morning star and I have watched it for several minutes to make sure it isn't a satellite or airplane.

Has anyone seen this as well or have an explaination as to what it might be?
