Original Message Amazing the heights of rhetorical hyperbole this topic engenders.

On one hand we have the absolutely brainless clones parsing their vapid arguments as fodder for the sheep - like: reincarnation is like groundhog day - that is consigns you to repeat the same life over and over and over without ever learning your lessons and never being accountable for your actions...

And then...

We have the over-spiritualized philosopher-clones, each with a more obliquely esoteric spin than the last, making no sense whatsoever but sounding mighty erudite and pseudo-enlightened.

People. Get a grip why don't you. Reincarnation is not a mystery nor a belief nor a trap nor a matter of debate at all.

It just IS.

And it is real simple to understand with a simple metaphor.

You know how you get tired in the evening and all your systems begin to seek rest and rejuvenation? And so you lay down, close your eyes, and enter an entirely different state of consciousness? One wherein you are free of any limitation? And then you awaken refreshed to begin another day? To continue and pick up where you left off the day before - and/or - to also to begin new plans while making amends for any harm you may have inflicted the day before?

In a general way, THAT is the how and why of reincarnation. Except when we die, we take a longer rest and get a new vehicle and devise a new plan - but the wisdom gained is never lost as our consciousness is continuous. We are containers of localized consciousness that go in and out of form.

And as life is never-ending, our adventure is never-ending.

So all you religious clones who really want a finish line with an absolute payoff or an absolute penalty, well, stay in kindergarten with your manufactured fairy tale. It is a damn simple parable that makes sense all the way down to a three year old.

Some day, you may ask yourselves why.
