I'm glad you appreciate the Adept series. I enjoyed writing it as half fantasy, half science fiction, and waited for the screams of outrage - which never came. In 2013 there is supposed to be a movie of Split Infinity.

I was pretty young when I read the series, but the ideas he presented had a lasting effect on me. I hope he gets the movie made!
