[quote:Anonymous Coward 1380038:MV8xNTkxMjMyXzI2MzA1Mzk5XzFGQkMxMDhG] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1458057] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1399549] yeah, next stop "BREAKING: Walking Dead RIOT in TOKYO!" footage at 9
I can't believe they riot in London but no riots in Japan and no even major protests in Canada or US and we got plastered. Maybe when the moms with the stillborns come forward?
There have been some protests/demonstrations in Japan with big turnouts but the news always downplays it saying "200 people in attendance" when it was really in the neighborhood of 20,000. The protests are always peaceful though. I too am shocked there have been no real riots or attacks regarding this. This is the most serious event in the world. It is far more serious than either Nagasaki or Hiroshima yet people are completely oblivious and drone on in their daily life. I too have been thinking that when the birth defects or still-borns appear that hell on earth will begin in Japan but I fear that the government will attempt to cover up these figures. It has been 4 months since the event and the contamination has been spread widely in Japan via air, water and food so we shall see how this transpires. The cancers will not likely show up for ~10 years and the government hopes that this will be long enough for people to "forget" what caused it. I personally think that those in power now in Japan and the TEPCO top management all need to be taken out of their positions by force and put on site at Fukushima Daiichi to work and clean up the mess. Why should the poor have to do this work while they sit in their air-conditioned homes and eat foreign delicacies. I am bubbling with rage and what has been done to my beautiful country with a very long and rich history. In one fell swoop it is being destroyed for what? Electricity? So fat-cats can line their wallets? So they can reduce the global population? RAGE! I wish my country men felt the same. You all should be feeling similarly as your nations (particularly US and Canada) are being peppered constantly by what is coming out of Fukushima. Your food is not being tested either. The news does not tell you anything I have heard.:redface::redface::redface::redface:
[...] Two months after the residents of Namie, Japan, evacuated away from the nearby Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant disaster, they learned a government computer system had shown they were moving directly into the most-radioactive location. [...]
The Namie scandal is only the newest exposé of the Japanese government’s pattern of endangering its people by covering up the severity [...]
Public anger is exploding as the Japanese people discover more about what the authorities did to downplay the full spread of the Fukushima radiation and its potential health dangers.
