People are starving or soon will be, and you can complain that people are supposed to do for themselves, but most people here know that the average person isn't allowed to do that.
Buy a farm you say?
Become self sufficient you say?
How, by robbing a bank?
No, the strength of the people is in a group. Get together and make a plan, then follow through.
Trinity got a project going for a telescope and raised enough money that cleaver people could buy hundreds of cheap Nevada acres and irrigate it.
Then people could live on the land and get by until things improved. It would take work and cleverness, but it could be done.
Because the power of the group is greaser than the power of the one.
But what are you, personally going to do about it? My guess is probably sit back and do nothing much, until you have no resources and you have to beg at someone's door for table scrapes.
This is ranty, and I've said it before, but "they" can't win if we're all together. Even a group of a few hundred is a lot more powerful than you alone will ever be.
So what are you going to do to help yourselves and others?
