A human gestational period is commonly documented as 266 days....so that puts us roughly at an October 1st due date.
Rosh Hashana starts September the 28th... Could it be :ohyeah:
Makes sense...the feast of trumpets..."at the last trump", the dead raised up and all.
I found this in Isaiah and Daniel the other day about the dead in Christ rising...tell me if you don't think this could be why Homeland Security and the CDC put out the "Zombie Apocalypse" warning (tounge in cheek, they would have us believe)... http://blog.fema.gov/2011/05/from-cdc-preparedness-101-zombie.html Isaiah is talking about the last days in Isaiah 26:19-21 and in verse 19 he says "...the earth shall cast out her dead." I wondered if this meant ALL dead, not just those who have died in Christ that will be taken up from the earth, so I looked further to see if it was ONLY the dead in Christ that will rise up from their graves. Check this out... Daniel 12:1-2 is also talking about the last days and he has this to say about the dead... "...there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time they people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life AND SOME TO SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT." I think from Daniel's vision, it is safe to say that the earth could give up ALL her dead and only those written in the Lamb's Book of Life will rise with the believers to meet Jesus in the air. The others...well, maybe the CDC wasn't joking after all! :damned:I could be wrong but...WOW! The "what ifs" are not looking good for those left behind!
Watcher- I like some of the threads you start, but this statement needs to be commented on by somebody, and it might as well be me. There are separate resurrections for the just and unjust, as there are separate times of judgement. (Bema for believers and White Throne for Unbelievers) These are totally separate events and have at least 1000 years interval. You might want to brush up on that.
For those of you familiar with the biblical term "birth pangs" to describe the times in which we live, this headline ought to give you some indication of the lateness of the hour...
