[quote:Truthache:MV8xNjMwNTMzXzI2OTI0MDI3X0ZGRDdBNkFG] Interesting, because the pledge was written by a socialist and the entire school system is a socialist construct and is becoming more communist with each passing week. Free people don't recite monotone, drone-like pledges Pledges are used for binding people to a duty, service, or obligation. So who is a pledge for then? Pledges are for: Socialists Communists Brownshirts Public officials Goose steppers Jackboots Private societies Gang members Mercenaries Religious institutions Cabals Confindence men. A group of Massholes has initiated a new step towards communism in Massachusetts and is calling for a banning of the Pledge of Allegiance in schools. One of the leaders of this group believes asking children to understand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance places pressure upon students and makes his skin crawl. I wonder if Martin Rosenthal, the co-chair of Brookline Political Action for Peace, makes some of us sick from his views.

A leader from a group in Massachusetts is calling on public schools in one town to ban students from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, saying it has no educational value and the pressure it places on children to participate makes his “skin crawl,” The Boston Globe reported.
