Original Message I just did a check of the Asian and European stock markets and noticed they are down quite abit.

Asian markets down 1.6% to 4.5% (as of this posting)
European markets down 1.7% to 4.8%

Could this be a due to a sell off because "some people" know that something is going to happen today (or this week) that will cause the market to crash?

It could also be due to the problems in Greece and Europe.

Just speculation at this point. Time will tell.
