I'm in Central New York, I just took the dog out and saw a bright star next to the moon. The problem is I didn't notice any other stars except one really faint one off in the other direction.
Is there supposed to be a bright star near the moon? It's really bright. It even made a halo type glare on the passing thin clouds.
