Original Message Hi I want to foil my meter using simple aluminum foil but I know that by doing this I can simply reflect it back inside at higher levels.

My meter is outside my house, but as anyone who knows these things will know the meter juts out.

The transmitter is near the face of the smart meter within the glass shielding, so if I block it off on the face with a sheet of aluminum foil it will simply reflect back into my home.

There are probably a lot of people doing just this. What I did is foil the wall a few inches behind the meter, up to the the glass enclosure, but i left the foil on top like a roof so that it doesn't cover the face.

Does anyone think I will still be getting worse radiation rom the reflection or have I done this properly.

Also it is imperative to ground the aluminum foil or else it will just amplify the signal.

I want to hear what peopl have to say about this if they have knoweldge on smart meters, even if it is unrelated. The information I do have on this smart meter is so sketchy thanks to the power companies.

Peace.
