New sunspot 1302 has already produced
two X-flares
(X1.4 on Sept. 22nd and X1.9 on Sept. 24th). And a few moments ago a larger M-Class flare.
If the width is similar to the height 13 Earths would fit in side the spot area. That is for each of the 2 spots so if they are both he same size (and they look it) say 25 earths.
