Original Message There has been a lot said about the 2year old child that was cruelly run over and ignored and, as disgusting as that was, I was more disgusted with the attitude of some Americans in the way they blamed the Chinese people.

Personally I feel Its not the race of people but the environment and economic situation. I heard on the ABC radio today about Americas child abuse death rates and was even more let down by humans in general.

1700 children, most under 4, died of abuse in the US in 2009 and the highest rate was in Texas.

GLPers were amazed that others stood back and did nothing but here we are standing back and cutting child services and education. Sometimes I ask how are we able to live with ourselves when we wont even help our own!
