Original Message Ok, so at 150 million a copy, is it really a good idea to try and save a few bucks by putting in cheaper microchips from China?

Not only that but these same chips can send back KEY intel to whomever made them.

You might remember an article written a few months back that talked about how the DoD bough over 50,000 microchips from China and installed them into numerous defense systems, Jets, Intel Hubs, etc...

"F-22 Raptor stealth fighters at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia have been grounded after a pilot experienced oxygen loss mid-flight."

This is the second time this year the Fleet of F-22's has been grounded.

"Problems with the on-board oxygen system have vexed the $150-million-a-copy F-22 for more than a year. On May 3, the Air Force locked down the entire Raptor fleet while it investigated reports of pilot blackouts and disorientation — problems that might have contributed to a fatal F-22 crash in Alaska in November."

"Investigators suspected a design flaw in the Raptor’s oxygen generator that was allowing high levels of unbreathable nitrogen to leak into the pilot’s air supply. But they could never pin down the precise flaw, and last month the Air Force brass ordered the 170 F-22s — accounting for nearly half of the Pentagon’s air-superiority force — back into the air."

This is an excerpt from the article on Fishy Chips -

"In 2010, the U.S. military had a problem. It had bought over 59,000 microchips destined for installation in everything from missile defense systems to gadgets that tell friend from foe. The chips turned out to be counterfeits from China, but it could have been even worse. Instead of crappy Chinese fakes being put into Navy weapons systems, the chips could have been hacked, able to shut off a missile in the event of war or lie around just waiting to malfunction."

Anything to save a few bucks right?

So if China is hellbent on taking over the world, is it really a good idea to buy microchips that will be installed into very sensitive defense systems and Jets that cost over 150 million dollars each? With over 50000 microchips lodged into the backbone of our defense systems that can be turned off at will, or better yet used as key loggers for the Chinese Military.

Did our country get sold out already? Has the Coup already happened?

Just watch 2012 or the New Karate Kid to get a taste of the Chinese Hegemony in action infused into Hollywood.
