I'm in Central/So Cal. It's 7:25 local time. I sit outside to smoke all the time. I face east. I watch Jupiter rise every day. Have since March/April this year. I watch it all night. Untill 2 or 3AM sometimes. The sky is clear. No planes flying in that area. It slowly blinked out and popped back on?? WTF?
BTW, I'm not a subscriber to the Jupiter space ship crap. I did buy into some of the Elenin stuff. But this was really really odd...
Could a sattelite passing in front of it do this? Again, there weren't any planes or blinking lights that passed by? I looked imediately at it with some fairly powerfully binoculars. And saw nothing.
