Those BIG dishes were used for lower frequencies than the smaller dishes you see today. You *could* use the big dish for higher frequencies if you replace the feed horn and associated electronics. However ... The bigger the dish, the narrower the beam, so you'll be limited in what satellites your system can actually "see" - unless you have a way to rotate it. Hope this helps. :hf: [/quote]
