[quote:Anonymous Coward 4570106:MV8xNjkxMzU2XzI3OTU1NzQwXzcwNEQ5NTM3] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1487602:MV8xNjkxMzU2XzI3OTU1MzQwXzc3NDQzREVC] Do you need more than 30 seconds to say "Good afternoon my fellow americans, it pains me to say that we have had to wage a just war against <country x>. As I address our nation, our own and the coalition of the willings brave pilots will be defending our freedom, by bombing the nuclear weapon sites we have discovered in Iran" Read the linked report. The IAEA names a couple of countries that have been in the cross hairs of the "international community" latley http://www.iaea.org/newscenter/statements/2011/amsp2011n029.html
They've waged many wars - Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya - they've never used the EAS to announce it - they can just use MSM for that like always. No, more likely they have (or had) some false flag planned - to claim that "someone" used this opportunity of this "test" to actually attack. As in hey they knew we were doing this test so what better time to strike when people think it's a test? Something along those lines.
FEMA Confirms Shortened EAS Test
November 3, 2011 - FEMA has confirmed that the National EAS test, scheduled for November 9 at 2 p.m. ET, will be shortened from the original two minutes and 30 seconds to 30 seconds, plus time for data burst tones that will make the total test time approximately 45 to 60 seconds.
The change was made at the direction of Janet Napolitano, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. The announcement was made late this morning.
Stations will need to consider modifying any PSAs already prepared that reflect the original longer test duration.
**edit from phen - just got a call from clyde lewis - on the phone with him now; he did a show on this last night quoting our thread, and this morning his program director got a dissemination from EAS, saying the shut down was reduced to 30 seconds because "people were asking questions". his station thinks DHS was listening in & his show has something to do with the reduction bc he was playing the tones on the air
