Also, u may wanna sit down with the lady and explain some shit> otherwise you will hear an assload of shit over the next years and end up divorced> No shit, thats the real. Take care of this now before its too late. Its not what you bought for the kids that they remember, its what you did with them. If the wife doesnt understand that then you are with the wrong woman.. just sayin
its crazy. i think everything my ten year old asked for is over a hundred bucks a each. wife wants a new laptop basically, and some new earings or something. A jacket. i was just tallying up SOME of the things and hit six hundred bucks and hadnt finished just on the ten years old. android, reader, some electric bike. ps3. some ds games for her ds. son, electric ride around car (hes little) but that by itself is a couple hundred or more bucks. Add in the rest. i would have to spend like three k for christmas. But all my daughters friends have androids and whatever supposedly. she isnt the only kid. i thought i did okay, but maybe im poor and just dont know it. in my mind, i think we should be spending MAX maybe six to eight hundred on the entire holiday. I would LOVE to only spend like four or five hundred. I dont see prices and requests allowing for six to eight hundred. more like three k or so..... im so screwed.
I feel for ya bro> reread my second to last sentence
Because i just started looking at gifts buying and am thinking CAN I EVEN AFFORD THIS?
Course, the wife reminds me that the kids friends have these things so WE MUST be able to buy our kids these things. And Our family buys this and this for us so we should buy this and this for them. So thinking i should just NOT buy so many things for the kids, well that just puts you on a massive self guilt trip.
So without even buying a thing yet, and window shopping. With a little money in my pocket (but not much i pay out quite a bit)
IM ALREADY STRESSED OUT THINKING ABOUT IT LOOKING AT THINGS.
HOW am i go to pay it? will i have to skip some bills? Do i have some free money in the budget that i just dont see? could use a credit card, but i hate credit card debt and dont want any.
Could take out of savings some, but should you really be taking ANY money from savings for christmas presents? seems kind of odd.
Budget cash flow, skip some bills maybe. I really dont know...????????
And how, are these other people paying for christmas, many of whom probably have less money than i do.
But because so and so bought their kid x now i feel guilty thinking i might not even really have the money to my my kid x in the budget.
How did so and so manage to do it?
