Original Message So I had a student who registered for a class and gave us a credit card that was DECLINED.... spoke with the student and she said she would pay on her class day....

On Class day she comes in 15 late and informs the instructor that she had paid for her class on line that AM.

The instructor had no way of checking and did not want to interrupt the class so she allowed the girl to stay all day.

She attends her 3 day class over the week end and gets Training Material equipment books.

When our accounting dept investigates... she lied and did not pay.

We called her to make arrangement for payment.

We even offered that she make weekly payments until paid.

Guess what...

She REPORTED us to the Better Business burea for calling her and asking for payment.

WHAT IS THIS WORLD coming too.

So far... she has FREE Classes and was given over $100.00 worth of training manuals and supplies... and WE GET REPORTED to the Better Business Burea for ASKING to make arrangement for payment.

Yesterday, I receive a box with the BOOK all highlighted .... and a letter to NOT CALL her... because she has changed her mind about the class.

WHAT.... The only thing is... SHE COMPLETED the class...

on the same day... we receive a letter from the Better business Burea saying we called her cell phone asking to collect the payment.... we never taked to her... just left 3 messages.

She was told that her credit card was DECLINED by the bank... but tells the bbb that she paid.

She offers NO PROOF OF PAYMENT...

We sent a letter to the BBB tellling them SHE HAS NOT PAID and in fact completed the course FREE at this point...

In 10 years and over 5000 studnets we have had ZERO BBB Reports...

Can you imagine what a Christmas gift this is to our orgnaization.

I am simply AMAZED at the lack of Self-Responsibility and the MALICIOUS BEHAVIOR of this person.

As a business, there is NOTHING we can do to collect the money at this point... and forever we will now have a BBB report on file.

the cost was under $600 so to file a smalls claims court case is $300.00 and that will do nothing to help us with the BBB Report.

The BBB says, they only GATHER INFORMATION and make no judgement calls.
