Original Message The world is perfect. And that statement is only insane if you believe the purpose of the world is to keep people comfortable and materially satisfied. Then things like child abuse, dictatorships, enslavement by corporations, famine, war, poverty… are deep and disturbing flaws in the system, that any decent and moral person must fight. And we get lost in this battle, trying to fix the world, becoming more and more angry and intolerant and without hope. And still everything is a mess, has always been a mess, and always will be.

But if the purpose of the world was to educate, then everything here can serve that purpose. Every moment, every experience, every person on earth, becomes your teacher. And you become theirs. It is beautiful and utterly flawless, and every action serves it, without exception. Gandhi was a teacher of peace, and so was Hitler. One taught with compassion and humility, and the other with fear and hatred. But they both furthered the cause of tolerance and forgiveness in the world, each in their own way.

There are less dramatic examples of this around you every single day. The person that cuts you off in traffic may not be Hitler, but he or she is teaching you how to be patient, and how to get control of your ego, and look at others with the eyes of compassion. If you fail that lesson and succumb to your anger, then your actions are doing nothing but passing that lesson on to others, to the child in the backseat, or the person in the next lane observing you. Live and learn, or die and be an example. But nothing you do can exist outside of this perfection. There are no mistakes. Whatever you choose to do is always part of the lesson plan.

The world is perfect. Even your attempts to fix it, are part of that perfection.

Seeing the world like this is pure joy. It's not possible to feel sadness or fear in such a beautiful place.
