Don't forget, just because it is called a Supervolcano, doesn't mean that it would erupt again like the last time it went off millions of years ago. We haven't seen a Supervolcano go off in our lifetimes....If it did erupt, it could erupt smaller than last time (even though it would still cause considerable damage and loss of life) We just don't know what to expect, neither do the scientists, maybe that's why the camps are dotted around, just in case they think it might not be bigger than the last time and the camps are there ready and waiting to help.
