Why is it that we never hear black people talking about alien abductions ?

[quote:Anonymous Coward 1324238:MV8xNzU4OTEzXzI5MTY5NTE5XzZFMjQyMTZB] [quote:kat:MV8xNzU4OTEzXzI5MTY5MjcxXzMzRUExODVC] It is cultural. White folk feel more empowered and free to talk about it. Black folk are busy trying to be normal to get by in life. Look what goes on in South America. Lots of sightings and abductions. Race has nothing to do with it there. I am sure it has to do with literacy rates also. If you are not comfortable with the written word, and if you are not comfortable with society in general, you are less likely to report what you have seen and experienced.
So you feel that USA born blacks are all ghetto miscreants with no literary skills, and *if* they had been abducted by "aliens", they are too stupid and marginalized to speak up to someone about their story like white folks can? That's interesting... BTW, there are some black folks accounts of bigfoot and other paranormal phenomenon on YT. Also, plenty of black folks down where my folks are from in Louisiana will tell anyone stories of swamp spooks and such. Plenty of these folks have been on those ghost TV shows.
Or does that sort of thing only happen to crazy white people ?
