Original Message A person from local authorities showed at my door to ask about a building in my yard, seen on Google Earth.
He openly stated that to my wife, who answered the door.
After my wife reassured him it was a old animal shed, he was let inside the house to see for himself.
After that, he left, reassuring my wife everything was fine.

Odd, to say the least.

The images from my house on Google Earth are at least seven years old.

So they're not that quick, but still I think it's ridiculous they're using sources like that to determine if someone has build something in their own backyard.
