Original Message In the last few days something very odd happened the weather changed dramatically.

For example here in belgium we had a december and almost entire januari well above the freezing line so the temperatures were temperatures of autumn rather than winter which is as far as i can remember something entirely knew.

Since it always freezes at some point in december in belgium. Always!

So we have this very bizzar warm december and warm januari.

And all of a sudden a bitter cold wave arrives from russia?

Some even call it an extreme cold wave a rare event that didn't happen in decades over central europe!

By the way it's due to a very cold high pressure system from siberia.....

Makes you wonder what that kind of thing is doing here in central europe....

Any waether experts around to enlighten me.
