I might try that.  I know a little about a lot of different religions.  I just feel like too much evil has come out of Christianity to justify my attempt to believe in it.  Even as a child attending baptist church, sunday school and also anglican church and sermons I felt like I was being brainwashed by something wrong.

there was probably something wrong!  I think you might be spiritually sensitive and that is why you felt it!  The places you went to might have had a 'spirit of religion'...and to those who are sensitive, you can actually feel quite 'yucky'inside from being there.

Knowing JESUS is a much different thing!  HE is a real person who you have a REAL relationship.  Much different than religion.

Kaylee....I can tell you are seeking.  I can also tell that you are being drawn to JESUS right now.

In prayer, ask HIM to show HIMSELF to you.  But come to HIM with a seeking, earnest heart.

AMEN to that Grace! Not all churches have His Spirit in them. And we don' need a church to have a relationship with our Lord and Savior.

A relationship with Jesus does not have to include a church, it can be just personal and private. He is a Lord who forgives and saves all who ask of Him.
