Original Message Five cops responded to a call in Calumet city Ill, they found a 15 yr old with a BUTTER KNIFE , well the kid tore the cops shirt with the " knife" during a scuffle .

So the cop shot him dead!

This reminds me of the case in detroit where the cop shot this " special" older gentleman cause he wielded a Garden rake!

ONCE upon a time in america if you put on a uniform you basically said , im willing to lay my life down for a fellow human.

In these special circumstances dont you think , that the cops should have enough training, to recognize when a person is " out of it" due to realy no fault of thier own , and shouldnt one think of the OTHERS LIFE , BEFORE thier own.
