[quote:arkay:MV8xNzc2Mjk3XzMzNzkxNzg3XzdCOEY0RDk1] The latest Influenza reports for South Africa are as follows. [i][b]Comment: The 2012 influenza season started in week 21 (ending 27 May) when the detection rate from the Viral Watch Programme rose to 21% and peaked in week 33 (ending 19 August) at 68.4%. This year to date (week 37, ending 16 September), 1776 specimens have been received from Viral Watch sites in all nine provinces. Influenza A (unsubtyped) was detected in 11 patients, influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 in four, influenza A(H3N2) in 408, and influenza B in 286 patients. In this time period 3794 patients with SARI have been tested at the 5 sentinel sites, and influenza A(unsubtyped) was detected in five patients, influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 in one, influenza A(H3N2) in 113, and influenza B in 103 patients in all four provinces with sentinel sites. I previously engaged in several threads regarding the potentially devestating potential of H5N1.
Some readers who havent even attempted to gain any sort of education have downvoted my thread to the point that no-one got the chance to read and learn, on a topic that I have been closely monitoring for several years, ever since the World Health Organization announced their concerns for it to go pandemic.
Now the following link is showing its steady but relentless advance and in all probability its eventual final evolutionary mutation to become an airborne dissease that will readily spread throughout humanity with devistating effects.
