[quote:arkay:MV8xNzc2Mjk3XzMzODA2MjY0XzFCNUYxQjU3] Yesterday we reported that there had been a suspected case of the novel coronavirus first detected in Saudi Arabia and Qutar that had shown up in a young boy in Hong Kong. If you can classify this news as fortunate then, so be it. The samples taken from the boy have tested negative for that coronavirus, which is of course fortunate, however they have tested positive for Swine flu, H1N1, which is of real concern. Though the boys father also appears to have had similar symptoms but not become seriously ill, this boy has needed to be hospitalized and will probably recover. The real concern now will be the people that were travelling with these infected people from Jeddah of Saudi Arabia, and also the fact that H1N1 is now appearing in Sauda Arabia. This coiuld also become a very confusing situation there especially if the new coronavirus does become more active in its spread and H1N1 also begins to infect more people at the same time. Identiflying them and seperating them into seperate isolation treatment facilities would certainly present some serious challanges to health professionals there. This also at the time when the annual traditional religious pilgrimages into this region are all about to begin, could amount into a potential nightmare should any of these bugs begin to seriously infect large numbers of people in the near future there. The boy was admitted to Queen Mary Hospital for isolation on the same day. He has upper respiratory tract symptoms and there is no clinical or radiological evidence of pneumonia. He is stable. The boy tested positive for influenza A (H1N1) 2009 virus but negative for Novel Coronavirus. Link here... http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/site/?pageid=event_update_read&edis_id=EH-20121007-36774-CHN&uid=13071
Original Message
I previously engaged in several threads regarding the potentially devestating potential of H5N1.
Some readers who havent even attempted to gain any sort of education have downvoted my thread to the point that no-one got the chance to read and learn, on a topic that I have been closely monitoring for several years, ever since the World Health Organization announced their concerns for it to go pandemic.
Now the following link is showing its steady but relentless advance and in all probability its eventual final evolutionary mutation to become an airborne dissease that will readily spread throughout humanity with devistating effects.
