      Actually no one should. 
  Intellectually (using mind ) to play with chakras  is like walking through a cesspool with an open cut on your body.

Your etheric body is/has a natural protection like skin is for the physical body. When you use methods to open the chakras you penetrate that natural protection and open your self up to any and /or all surrounding  energies.
