Subject Christians, if I decide to believe in Jesus, must I also believe in Satan, angels and demons in order to assure my place in heaven?

Original Message Will I be accepted by Christians as a Christian if I believe as John 3:16 requires, or must I also believe in Satan, angels, demons and hell? I don't believe in hell, I don't think a loving God would make such a place and I don't think he'd send me there if he truly loved me as much as Christians say he does. So if I believe in Jesus, but not hell, will I still go to heaven? What if I reject belief in Satan, angels and demons? Can't I still go to heaven with just a pure and simple belief in God and that He loved me and sent his Son to forgive my sins? If no, then how many extra requirements are there for me to be really saved?
