I see from how this conversation is going that we can step it up a couple of levels. You are correct, universe is not all, as there is the multiverse, and levels past that ad infinitum. With the saving of the tree, who governs and dictates whether a sentient mind heard the tree fall or not? The answer IS mind. All of creation exist in mind, for without it nothing is possible. Just as you are building your reality around you, something has to be building you. And then something building that. Levels encapsulating levels.
We can accept that. In the realm of possibilities your view is possible. We still have a problem though with the word 'mind'. Does mind exist before a being defines it? Or is mind first? Or is all of existence, as some oriental philosophies would indicate part of one mind and all of existence reflections of a universal mind? :spock: -In a Quantum universe all 'logical' possibilities must be considered.
I am thoroughly enjoying the conversation. I always respect an individual who can maintain an intellectual conversation, while holding no dogma. I have to get offline tonight, but would enjoy continuing this tomorrow.
I don't! It seems humans who see themselves having a beginning and an end, project this thinking to the universe. In fact there is not the slightest bit of evidence that the whole universe {not part but whole universe} ever began or that it will ever end. Existence can not come from nothingness nor
can it ever be destroyed. The Universe always was and always will be; Understand this and understand the immortal nature of existence and its implication of Infinity!

-If you believe one universe exists, why not believe in two or more?
