[quote:Ohwow!:MV8xNzk0NjcyXzI5ODQwMTU5X0U4MkExNzRB] What I dont understand, since "they" all want us dead anyways why do they keep cracking down on smokers? I would have thought they would be pushing it on kids saying it has anti cancer effects or something...Quote Marax I don't want anyone to start smoking if they don't smoke - it is expensive and it can cause health problems and it is hard to have a drink without a smoke. Here is the conspiracy: It is not a coincidence that the pharmaceutical giants pay antismoking activists all over the world to instigate hysteria and mass hatred against smokers. The goal of this marketing campaign, which involves even well-known names of international medicine, is quite clear: the smoker, frightened by the disinformation, tormented even by his kids (who get brainwashed in school), thrown out from public places and workplaces – and finally hated by society – tries to quit to conform. But, since he is told he is an “addict”, he must turn to the help of his doctor, who either sends him to a quit-smoking centre or prescribes the “therapy” directly, depending on the business arrangements made with Big Pharma. http://www.forces.org/evidence/pharma2/connection.htm Huge money for big pharma - selling their smoking cessation pharmaceutical products because of the created hysteria - worldwide billions made most likely - didn't see a bottom line amount, but anyone can do the math
Smokers vs non-smokers
It’s already against the law for smokers to light up near businesses, parks and playgrounds in California, but one town is now considering a total outdoor smoking ban — even on private property — all at one family’s request.
City officials in Rocklin, Calif. are weighing the Baker family‘s complaint about smoke drifting into their home from their neighbors’ backyards, the Placer Herald reported.
