I wonder what that thing is?  I've really cleaned and thrown away objects that I felt were squirrely or off-center.  I've thrown away all things from my exploitative pagan days, I've thrown things in rivers that I thought were particularly off - gifts from folks that I knew were not righteous and didn't have my best interests in mind.

I know the house is haunted.  Back in the day we did EVP recordings and it was freaky all we heard while we were sleeping.

Happens a lot in this old haunted place. The most recent was a blush brush. I was putting on my make-up and the damned thing was gone. I figured it may have fallen in the trash can, but I tore the cabinet apart trying to find then brush and it was not there.

I went and bought a new one (and ladies know, those things aren't cheap if you want high quality that doesn't shed). Got my new brush, threw it into my make-up basket and set it in the cabinet and there was the brush I thought I'd lost, leaning against the soap in the front of the cabinet.

It wasn't there before, I cleaned out the cabinet looking for that brush, all three shelves, but suddenly, there it is.

Anyone else have stories of the disappearing and reappearing thing?
