Original Message The civilization in the Jiroft region of south-central Iran is believed to be the oldest known civilization in the world. Older then Sumerians, Egyptians and Chinese and Indian. It seems the jiroft civilization were the first to discover writing and written word and not the Sumerian. Jiroft civilization was a unique Bronze age civilization with tis own unique writing and language. It is believed by an Iranian prominent archeologist the jiroft civilization maybe the lost Arrata kingdom of legend.
