Original Message Since no one in family has ever been a freemason, I have to fill an application form given to me by the local Grand Lodge on "why I want to become a Freemason".

I'm a bit confused on what to write because I am well aware of the various conspiracy theories regarding freemasonry and how they rule the world etc..

So should I become a Freemason just to see for myself whether all the conspiracy theories are just lies?

They won't subject me to some kinda mind control programming, will they?
