Fortunately, this view can be tested.  Does our view of reality and science allow us to build stuff that works.  Like:

long high bridges over rivers and valleys
computers
transistors
airplanes
satellites
1000+ foot high buildings
televisions
radios

and so on and so on.  Now to me, the ability to apply our principles, our view of reality, and build STUFF THAT WORKS means there's a lot right with our view of things.
