Several people on here are talking about the fact that we are living in a simulation...and they are telling the truth. Your entire existence here is only all in your head, thanks to the machine you have been plugged into.
Nothing here truly exists - the chair you are sitting in, the computer you are using, the floor under your feet, the food or drink in your mouth, the stars in the sky, even your body....not one bit of it truly exists. It is all just visual constructs of the machine to keep our minds from waking up. With the exception of communication, nothing you do here (that keeps in line with the programming of the simulation) actually occurs, either.
Like most things, this simulation has a set of rules that allows it to run at optimum performance. Breaking these rules normally leads to harm on the user's part - but only if the user allows it. Every rule here, from the laws of physics to the laws of society, are simply there to keep you a slave to the machine and to keep you from waking up!
What you must learn to do is to free your mind from the perception that what you see and feel around you is actually real - it isn't, it's only an illusion to keep your mind trapped in the simulation. And you must free your mind from every rule of the system - you only need to obey them if you plan on playing along with the illusion.
Once you realize those two things, a third truth should become obvious: you can do whatever you want here. The extent of what you can do is only hindered by how free your mind is from the rules and perceptions of the system.
So: Are you content to lead a normal and pointless life, obeying all the rules and doing what is expected of you; or do you want to take the necessary steps to free your mind and realize your full potential? The choice is yours.
