Original Message I need to go down stairs and way across the parking lot in order to get to the Dumpster.
I had made it down the stairs when I heard a small voice offering to help me. "Do you need help?" he asked me. I looked down to the sweet face of a neighbor's kid. Little boy, I think he's four. This garbage bag weighed close to 20 lbs. I know that from cat litter, I am not making this up. He **insisted** on carrying it, even after I told him that I appreciated that he was being a gentleman, but that I had it. We ended up carrying it "together" and heaving it in on the count of three. He was thrilled. So was I.

His mother, drama queen extraordinaire, is raising an absolute sweetheart.
(Please note that in no way am I disabled.)

I just thought I'd share that. Maybe all is not lost.
