i would prefer the church to build and sell wholesome products...yes...like grow food and sell cheap or something.... than offering, i agree it does make it into a more ritualistic atmosphere over time but tithes are definitely biblical, they could do it not in public, like drop in a box somewhere...
Tithing died with the Levitical priesthood; the only places tithing is referenced in the New Testament is the claim of the self-righteous Pharisee, and the explanation of its death in Hebrews. The Apostle Paul instructed people to set aside funds from their excess, but that was to relieve the poor, particularly the large numbers of poor brethren in Jerusalem. Relieving the poor does not include supporting self-appointed pastors or to maintain an uncommanded temple or building. Jesus, Paul, and Peter all denied those who solicited money for preaching; and as Christ instructed his disciples: Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give. Mat 10:8. Tithes were not a part of Christianity until hundreds of years after the death of the Apostles; they were never mentioned by any Council of the Roman sect until 1119. RITUAL PLAYGROUND
Or when they pray to pray for our leaders...
This is like saying, dear Jesus please save Hitler and turn his heart around.
Or how every church events is filled with food and gluttony
Or how they all talk about football from the pulpit.
Going home and watching the ritualistic game
Who are you going to vote for do you want the green bullet or do you want the red bullet or are you extreme and want that purple bullet?
If the church truly knows truth and knows Jesus the master of all truth then why is it they do not talk about 911 being an inside job?
Or how about all the vaccines that are making us sick, or the food that is poisoning us how they are genetically engineered and take away all the nutrients.
Why are not Important things like this mentioned from the pulpit, no, only the same old rehashed message that they have been preaching forever.
Better not mess with 501(c)(3) ... Which states, The church is under tax exemption status so long as the church and the state become separate. This means no one is allowed to take any sides or speak about any candidates mentioned for president.
If the church chooses to talk about candidates and take sides they must then pay taxes for every year they had missed paying taxes because they were exempt.
The church has been bribed
