Original Message It can't be Venus because Venus is clearly the third brightest object in the sky but located in the Western Sky.
Spica might be a blue twinkling star in the eastern sky.
Please get your directions straight east is east and west is west. There's also something bright in the South/West, but don't know yet what it is.
