For an hour and a half employees of the Conoco gas station in Pasadena, Texas were left scratching their heads as dozens of cars hurried to fill up their tanks late Monday night.

What took employees so long to realize was a secret spreading by word of mouth and online: A computer glitch had their gas pumping a dollar a gallon.
