Original Message Really don't know why people aren't worried about this piece of the AZ immigration law puzzle:

"Anticipating an unfavorable ruling, Sen. Charles E. Schumer, a New York Democrat who is a critic of the Arizona law, said Tuesday that if the court does uphold the state’s law, he will introduce legislation to overturn that decision and grant the federal government sole control on immigration matters.

Mr. Schumer’s legislation would also overturn a 2011 Supreme Court case that upheld a separate Arizona law that requires all businesses in the state to check employees’ legal status using E-Verify, the federal government’s electronic verification system."

That's right, Schumer wants Congress to overrule the Supreme Court. Isn't that what Obama wanted to do with the Health Care decision? Seems defying the SCOTUS is getting more and more traction IMO.

Looks like this is just one more part of a concerted effort to publicly attack the Court's final say so in terms of Constitutionality. An attempt to put the Congress above those that are intended to watchdog them.

Not saying it's gonna happen, but part of a push...
