Original Message PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is an American animal rights organization based in Norfolk, Virginia.

They have announced today that the group calling themselves the Black Panthers must change the name of their organization to something else. "It's not right, it demeans real Panthers in the wild who are truly majestic creatures."

"They can call themselves the Black Kitties or the Black Pussies or something."
