[quote:Anonymous Coward 25596439:MV8xODYyOTUwXzM0MzkxODE4X0ZGRjJCNTI1] I have adv degenorative disease in my tailbone (epic center) and back vertibra areas i was told there's nothing that can really be done for pain wise but to mask it with medical products. Unfortunetly due to its location and its progressivness there is no remedy to fix it as the back muscles are also facing problems scaring and tearing to compinsating for the back and spending part time in a wheelchair is an option till evenually it becomes full time. Being 33 years old and living with a back thats in its 60's isnt pleasent at all i can barly get enough sleep and sleep sitting in an upright position sometimes helps take the pain down. Unfortunitly there is no easy street to take to compinsate this in my situation no operations can be done its to high risk of losing my legs completly. I do walk alot but it will still progress as this is a cycle that happens to elders in there later years but for some developes earlier. In my case i will eventually have to compinsate life with a wheelchair i have about 7years left on my back before everything has enough so best is to monitor it with your doctor and adjust your life stlyes as best you can. Just use the pain medication sparingly you dont want to get to adjusted to it make it less effective so sometimes its pain time and trust me i feel for you as sometime i dont want to feel at all i know what its like. I have to except it and let nature run its course. Best of luck with it and no your not alone. [/quote]

Does anyone else have this? I was diagnosed last month with degeneration in my cervical spine. They never checked the rest of my back. No MRI or anything. Today i'm having severe nerve pain above my lumbar. The doctor gave me flexerial and told me to take tylonal for pain.
I cant move with out crying. So found some lortab 10s laying around the home and popping a few beers with it. Why are doctors so crappy.
So if you have this as well what are some good back and ab exercises to add to my routine? I dont plan on exercising today. Not until the pinched nerve pain goes away.
Any other natural ways to heal this? I've took 3 HOT showers and had the heat pad on the area.
I dont understand why he did not xray the rest of my spine or look further into it. I told him the pain radiates from my neck, shoulders and middle spine most days. Or and he gave me diflonimac. All these seem to be like placebos or something. Not that I am addicted to pills. Id just rather not take something that does not work and add to the toxicity in my body.
I was wondering what some good herbs for pain and muscles might be. Tried and true.
