Subject Youtube Buffering problems. Doesn't seem to buffer paused vids anymore. Anyone else?

Original Message My question is simple. I used to be able to start a vid on youtube. Pause it, let it buffer a while or until finished, then go back and watch it. Now it seems I am unable to get any youtube vids to buffer. I hit pause, it stops loading the video, and no matter how much time has gone by no amount of buffering of the video was done. Bandwidth is not a problem on my end, so it's not that.

Anyone else experience this? I did do some searches on here and elsewhere to see if I could figure this out, couldn't find anything.

Has Youtube disabled buffering? So if you are not actively watching a video it won't load it?
