[quote:Anonymous Coward 34315249:MV8xODY0NjkyXzM2MTkyMTgyX0Q1NDhDMTY3] [quote:Anonymous Coward 14507906:MV8xODY0NjkyXzJFNTZEQkI=] I see it all the time, they all identify with the "do gooder" mentality that is part of their maternal instinct. Women are emotional creatures and thus not really cutout to make tought decisions when it comes to politics because their feelings will always get in the way. If there are any true conservative women out there make yourself heard.
I'm a women in my forties, been what is considered conservative my whole life, leaning more libertarian in the past 8-12 years. My husband and I both have always volunteered in our community. We've raised two sons. One has been a volunteer EMT for three years. The other has been a volunteer firefighter since he was sixteen and became a volunteer EMT at eighteen so he is on two squads. Both are now in college, working and volunteering. I am emotional when it comes to helping the needy but I feel it should be our choice to help. The government only screws things up. I think most women want everyone to be taken care of but they don't see that having people rely on food stamps and welfare only keeps them in poverty. I also think women just believe what they hear and see without looking further into the details. My guess is its probably a combination of maternal instinct and lack of knowledge.
