radical left... against
Radical left was their ideology when the party was formed. But their views these late years are not that radical. Close to socialism with a lot of left views i would say.
What is your opinion of this article by Bruce Krastig? He says that the Greek population already regret their vote, and that 70% of them wish to remain with the Euro He said that at the next election they will re-elect centrists and procede with Austerity Your thoughts, please? GREEK SHIPPER: You Will Be Surprised By What Happens In The Next Election http://www.businessinsider.com/greek-shipper-you-will-be-surprised-by-what-happens-in-the-next-election-2012-5?utm_source=readme&utm_medium=rightrail&utm_term=&utm_content=5&utm_campaign=recirc
Interesting link Zeus, thnx. Personally i cant see that happening bar a serious election fraud. Either Syriza wins or no govt again. Pro-bailout forces cant win the majority, the people sees them for what they really are now. You never know though what will happens till then. MSM in full force propaganda and blackmail daily. The shipping industry though, would not like a Syriza govt. They are pro-bailout to the bone like every rich guy in Greece. Shipping industry have a relaxed taxation system by the state something that the left forces are thinking of changing. Cant say something for sure, but Syriza seems to gaining a lot of momentum with the public employees too, who know that if a pro-bailout govt is formed 150.000 of them are about to get the sack. Interesting times.
Thank you for the intelligent and insightful response! Its so hard for us outside the country to truly know what the average Greek is thinking, but I had trouble thinking that they were willing to re-elect the thieves the just kicked out How about the topic of the Euro...do you feel the majority of people you know only feel comfortable with the euro, and would be willing to accept the rest of the difficult package just to stay with the EU? (and yes, I expect there to be propaganda, strongarming, blackmail, payoffs and the whole gammut of corruption to try and keep Greece in the EU, lest their exit inspire Spain, Ireland and others to do the same) Always interesting reading your posts, sir, and thanks again BZ
