Denver Police confirm it's part of a federal disaster response exercise. The helicopters are scheduled to land at Denver Health Medical Center. Police say the time frame for this is Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon in the area of Speer Boulevard between 6th and 8th avenues. (KUSA-TV © 2012 Multimedia Holdings Corporation)
For those of us not from there... Is this what caused the "Near Miss" ???
I think the guy would have recognized a helicopter
So you are saying that this was NOT what caused the near miss?
DID YOU WATCH THE VIDEO
I read the story. The video sends me to a clariton commercial. What I read says a Pilot was upset about an object passing by him in the opposite direction. The pilot wants to know if it was an RC plane etc... The object did not show up on radar according to the FAA. It would have to be pretty small to avoid radar detection or a stealth plane. I'm wanting to know if it was one of these helicopters that they pilot saw. I doubt it very much. My personal opinion is that it was probably a military drone aircraft. Do you have info to disprove my opinion or insight as to what it was?
