You better pick up some street smarts if your situation is that bad, ive seen people like you with no street smarts get thrown in the street and thats never pretty.
So basically you are suggesting that I commit fraud? Fraud is the act of deception for financial or other material gain. I know it is doubtful that McDonald's would actually pursue legal recourse but it is still lying. I actually think I have my head around street smarts, for the most part but admittedly I'm not some hardened thug minded person who will do anything to get what I want. I have principals and even though I may not have much else, I still have my integrity intact and a sense of self-respect. I guess that makes me walking target in this dog eat dog world, eh? So be it. There are some things that can not be taken from a person; they can only be given with consent and I have no intentions of selling my character for millions of dollars, let alone minimum wage. Lying is not an option for me and I will accept the consequences of that decision, for better or for worse.
You sound like an honest and decent person...a rarity these days. What part of the country do you live in? In SE Florida I know a company looking for sales pros. Most of the people in sales at that company make 50-70k per year. PM me of you want more info
Just read in the Business Insider this morning that the actual jobless rates are quite staggering. Makes me wonder how bad this really is. So many different statistical numbers that it leads to a lot of speculation. Regardless things are not getting any better.
-----------------------------
"The national unemployment rates gets lots of attention, and lately more attention has been paid to the workforce participation rate since more Americans have given up looking for a job, but we can also see that an astounding 100 million Americans don’t have jobs.
Specifically, these are people who are part of the civilian over-16 non-institutional population who are either unemployed or not part of the workforce."
